The Asexual Visibility and Education Network developed the Flag for the Asexual Community in 2010. Asexuality is defined as the lack of sexual attraction to others or having little interest in sexual activities. However, as everyone's definition of gender dysphoria will vary, it is best to inquire each person directly. It can imply that they depend on other forms of connection rather than or in addition to sexual attraction for certain people. Asexual is a general phrase, and each colour on this flag stands for something different. Darkness represents asexuality. Gray stands for sexual fluidity, or the tendency to become attracted to someone sexually only after developing a strong emotional connection with them. White represents the society's supporters.
